Once you have identified the candidate of your dreams, we work together to draft an offer. This includes the position responsibilities, as well as compensation package and benefits. Oftentimes, we receive a counter offer from a candidate, who is looking for a slightly different hourly rate or benefit structure. We work closely with the family and candidate as we go back and forth until both parties are satisfied, and the letter is signed!

Most candidates and families prefer to do a trial day, weekend, or week before signing a long-term contract. During this trial period, the candidate will often be completing required training or educational material. We pride ourselves in offering the most preservice training of any agency in the Austin area. Our caregiver curriculum prepares nannies for every aspect of the position, from childcare to household management, communication skills and brain development.

Once we receive a signed offer letter, we begin drafting a caregiver contract. Not only does a contract serve as a layer of protection for both parties, it also provides clarity about exact expectations and responsibilities. We outline things as specific as which household chores your caregiver may be expected to help with, a cell-phone policy, how your caregiver should inform you of sickness or lateness, as well as your families household rules. Once the contract is complete and both parties have signed it, you can give yourself a big pat on the back! The placement process is now complete.

While the bulk of our work together ends after contracting, our availability to you does not. We are always just a text or phone call away, happy to work through any potential hiccups, help find back-up care when possible, and support your family however you need us! We provide your nanny with ongoing support through continuing education resources, and CPR/First-Aid renewal when necessary.

Completion of the placement process comes along with access to our babysitting team for date nights, or times when your nanny is unavailable. Our sitters require an hourly rate, but you will not have to pay a booking fee.
